Rob grew up in Princeton NJ and was a three sports athlete in high school. He was recruited to play lacrosse at Lafayette College in 1982. After completing college Rob joined the Navy through the Aviation Office Candidate Program in Pensacola Fl. Rob was transferred to NAS Miramar and was assigned to VAW-113 stationed aboard the aircraft carrier USS independence for three years. The USS Independence was the first carrier in the Persian Gulf for Desert Shield and Desert Storm in 1991. Rob and his family moved to Goshen NY in 1998 He spent 13 years on Wall St and then decided to open his insurance agency in 2013 in Chester NY.
He currently spends his off time helping veterans. He runs Suits for Soldiers, Board president of Heroes Indeed and Boxes for Soldiers
